What's the difference between the pet taxi and pick up & drop off?

The pet taxi will take your dog to any location within the Dover/Kent area that you need. The pick up and drop off is just for pet parents who can't make it down to the salon for their appointment. For £5 each way a staff member will come to your house to collect your dog, bring them to the salon for their groom, and then return them to your home.

Why isn't there a set price per groom?

It can be difficult to set prices for dog groomers as we have to take into account the size of your dog, the condition they're in when they arrive at the salon, and how they will behave during the groom. If you're looking for an accurate estimate, you can pop into the salon in Dover and have a free consultation with one of our groomers.

Are you going to shave my dog?

Accepted Answer

We will always do what we think is best for your dog. Our groomer's have over 10 years of combined experience grooming dogs and many more owning dogs and being in related fields. There are instances which mean shaving your dog would be in their best interest, such as severe matting. The best way to avoid this is to care for your dogs coat at home with regular brushing. We will always consult with you first before shaving and please know it is usually a last resort, and only done with the owner's permission.

Are there any 'hidden fees'?

No. We will always be upfront with you regarding any potential fees, and any fee would be agreed upon before we take your dog into our care. The only fee that may be added once the dog is in our care, is our flea fee. This is a £20 charge that will cover a flea bath for your pet, and cover the cleaning costs in the salon, but we will let you know as soon as possible if we find fleas.

What services do you offer?

We offer a wide range of services from a full groom, to a wash & go, whilst also offering microchipping, flea baths, and anal glands. Please see our services page for more information.

Are you going to judge me for the condition of my dog?

Accepted Answer

No, we will never judge you for the condition of your dog. If your dog is in bad condition then we will always love for you to come to us. Our priority is making sure that your dog is clean, healthy, and happy. You can ask our groomers for at home maintenance advice and we will happily provide suggestions and help.
